I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have worked over the last 15 + years helping people through difficult times in their lives. My passion is helping people who have experienced a loss. Loss and grief is universal, often debilitating and difficult to navigate. You may have experienced the loss of a loved one, relationship/marriage, job, home, pet, health, identity, family after coming out LGBTQ+, career/self worth at retirement, empty nest. The list goes on and on.
Society is not comfortable with displays of grief after a certain period of time. You have the right to grieve the loss you have experienced. I myself have experienced great loss and grief over the last three years. I understand. The journey can be very lonely.
