Many of my clients have come to me seeking safety with a provider who is eager to understand them after not having success with traditional talk-therapy in the past. I want to empower clients to advocate for their needs, confront their fears, and overcome obstacles to achieving their goals. I have worked extensively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, seeking support for a variety of concerns including relationship issues, and life transitions, to crisis prevention/intervention, and childhood sexual abuse, emotional neglect, medical trauma, domestic abuse, intergenerational trauma, and disability/race/gender-based violence.
My specialization is in trauma-focused therapy and integrative approaches tailored to each client's individual needs. It is my priority to facilitate a safe, validating, and affirming environment, while equipping clients with the tools necessary to navigate life's challenges and address painful feelings like guilt and shame.
I understand the importance of finding a provider who listens to you with a sense of curiosity, making you feel heard and seen. I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, personal values, strengths, and motivators.
