All clients are different, each of us has our own unique concerns, struggles and past. An individual who is seeking mental health services is seeking someone who can not only assist them in understanding their mental health concerns, but someone who is knowledgeable and will provide support and empathy. As a therapist, I listen to my clients when they describe their current as well as past life situations. I utilize what I hear in their words to create a mode of treatment that will work uniquely for them.
I am licensed in Mississippi (provide in person and telehealth and Texas (telehealth only). I specialize in anxiety, depression and trauma (adults and children). I am certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy which is an effective intervention for many types of mental health concerns.
I understand that it is often scary to reach out for help. As a clinician, I try to make the process of seeking assistance as comfortable as possible. I treat my clients how I would want to be treated.
