I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with expertise in both therapy and medication management. I am passionate about helping people learn how to manage stress and anxiety, heal from past wounds, and working with those that are in recovery from alcohol and substance use disorders. It is a privilege for me to both witness and assist people on their journey of harnessing their own resilience and transforming their lives.
Therapy sessions may consist of techniques that allow clients to learn and use tools to reframe their thoughts, that may be contributing to feelings of depression, anxiety, hopelessness and helplessness. Sessions can also work to challenge beliefs that may be obstacles in living the life that you truly desire.
It's not always easy to reach out and ask for help. I offer a nonjudgmental and supportive space that helps clients feel at ease and become motivated to change.
