If you’re reading this, I want to convey hope. I hope that you continue to learn and to heal. I hope that your own hope grows. Pain and suffering will claim some of our days, but hope is the string that connects the days into a life. Hope is the string which connects the two ends of our tin-can phones. “Hello” I say along this string of hope.

I spent many years working with survivors of torture and war trauma in the non-proft world. This brought me to work with refugee and immigrant children as well as adults. The experiences I’ve had taught me much about the treatment of trauma, the importance of culture, and the power of survival.

I am trained in EMDR and CBT. I incorporate a large strengths-based focus and aspects of acceptance and commitment therapy. Please reach out if you want to schedule a consultation.
