I assist clients through life transitions, especially in the areas of significant loss and career challenges. I hope to provide a caring and therapeutic environment that empowers you to explore yourself and life circumstances in new ways. I strive to help you develop new insights and seek creative solutions to help get “unstuck” wherever you are at in your life. I draw from a diversity of theoretical perspectives to cater the counseling experience to your needs and socio-cultural context (e.g., client-centered, existential, narrative, and cognitive-behavioral). Also, I am an Associate Professor at University of North Georgia.
My clients face numerous life challenges, such as significant life transitions, grieving the loss of a significant other, or confusion about one’s career path. I help meaningfully exploring your past while charting a path for the future. Conversations will be open, yet focused on your concerns. I adapt our time to fit your needs and preferences.
If you sense that you might benefit from working with me, feel free to reach out for a free 15 minute consultation or to schedule an appointment. At present, I see client exclusively on Fridays due to my faculty responsibilities. Discounted rates available for K-12 educators and college and graduate students.
