My specialty is with children and adolescents, especially with regard to behavioral problems. I engage parents and caretakers on implementing basic and effective behavioral responses in order to improve compliance, respectful behavior, and contribution to the household using behavioral and family therapy models. I also apply CBT and insight therapy with children and adolescents to improve mood and anxiety management, coping skills, and effective social skills. In addition I have extensive experience applying individual, family and marital counseling with adults addressing Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Trauma, and Anxiety among other issues and concerns.
I have over 20 years of clinical experience working across settings with children, teenagers, and adults. This includes 7.5 years as a Hospice Bereavement Counselor, 6.5 as an Impact PLUS Clinician working with children, teens and adult family members, and over 6 years with Access Wellness Group.
