About
I AM NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. BUT IF YOU HAVE WORKED WITH ME BEFORE, FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME ABOUT GETTING BACK ON MY SCHEDULE. My work with couples and families is based on the latest research in the fields of attachment, neurobiology, and emotion. With individual clients, I focus on evidence based cognitive- and mindfulness-based approaches to help with trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, and issues related to relationships, work, and school. I have an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Colorado State University.
I have advanced training in the following mindfulness, trauma, and couples treatment models: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), IFS (Internal Family Systems), PACT (a Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy), and Hakomi (a mindfulness-based, somatic therapy).
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as an engineer for 20+ years, developing advanced computer chips. My career change was inspired by my meditation practice and my passion for understanding how we can have healthy minds and relationships.
