Virtual and in-person sessions. Some evening/weekend hours available. Especially enjoy working with couples, men, adolescents (13+), young adults, clergy, therapists, and other care givers and care providers. Very experienced with grief & loss, addiction & recovery, TBI, chronic health conditions, and navigating life stage changes (young adults launching, new parents, empty nesters, etc.). I hope therapy helps people come to terms with their past, and address concerns of the present, so they can have a healthier and happier future.
Specialties include pre-marital and marital counseling, grief and loss, stress and anxiety, young adults, and existential crises and questions. I use an integrated therapy approach based in family systems theory that borrows from other therapy methods/models in ways that are helpful for individual clients. I offer homework for interested clients.
Therapy is your time to talk about your life and the things you want to be working on. I will be curious, not judgmental. I may challenge, but I won't push. I want to be a resource, experienced guide, and conversation partner for you and your loved ones. I consider it a privilege to walk with you through whatever season you are experiencing.

Affordable and accessible care is important. Therapy shouldn't just be available for some. I take insurance (use Headway platform), keep cash rates reasonable, and offer sliding scale for demonstrated need. If out-of-network, I will provide documentation for you to seek reimbursement or benefits.

People are unique. They have different personalities and experiences, and they respond to different ways of doing things. I focus on listening to and learning about you, and then seek to approach therapy in a way that will be most helpful. My approach is rooted in family systems theory, but I integrate best practices and ideas from other therapeutic methods and approaches as well.
