About
We are all in the process of change, it is an unavoidable element of life. The trick is to have the willingness to look at how we wish to change, and take steps to do so. This may involve simply developing a different perspective on some struggle or other. No matter what the problem is though it takes courage, to allow another person to see our vulnerability. With that willingness there are very few problems which cannot be significantly improved or solved. Encouragement from a person who understands what we struggle with can help empower us to take action to feel better and be happier..
I work with children adolescents adults and families, in individual, play, family, couples and group psychotherapy. I consult with parents, children and school personnel regarding educational and behavioral difficulty, and work with children, teens and adults, in response to a variety of complaints. Sometimes all we need though is a different perspective.
I worked in several different industries before receiving my MSW at 27, and so have had life experiences that broadened my world view, and understanding of the complexities of life. Reaching out to start treatment can be difficult and I respect my clients willingness to do so. I really love my job. I meet people interested in growing. I get to help them.

Anxiety/Support re COVID-19
Part education, goal setting and homework, part support/discussion, this group will focus on assisting folks in managing the emotional toll of the current pandemic. There will be education regarding the basis of anxiety and how it can be made worse by life circumstances. There will be the opportunity to receive support for struggles they find themselves having.
