For more than three decades I have brought my passion and experience as a clinical psychologist to facilitate healing, growth, and transformation in the clients whom I work with. My work is guided by my belief that we are all driven by a need to individuate - to become who we are capable of being. I realize that many of the problems that arise in our lives can cause the emotional pain and suffering that compromise these efforts. This is difficult life work, and while these experiences can feel overwhelming, they can also become openings for personal transformation when explored in a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship.
My work draws from a wide range of therapeutic traditions - CBT, emotionally-focused therapy (EFT) and other attachment-based interventions and mindfulness tools - allowing me to provide an integrative approach tailored to each individual. My training as a psychoanalyst also provides opportunities to explore a deeper and more profound awareness of oneself.
I work with adults facing the challenges of anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress, and relationship distress, as well as those facing pivotal life transitions.
