I am a psychodynamically trained therapist with 30 years of experience treating a wide variety of individuals and couples. I don't treat diagnoses or disorders. I work with people who are dissatisfied and unhappy with some aspects of their lives, and who have come to recognize that their difficulties may have their origin within their own perceptions or unproductive patterns of behavior. The key to a satisfying and productive therapy is the ability of the therapist to “get” the patient and their world, and to use the interactive relationship to resolve the blockages and dysfunctional behavior patterns that engender feelings of anxiety and depression.
