Hello! Looking for a therapist is hard, and I would love to be able to end that search for you. My overall goal is to help you live your life more holistically, reducing the affect and impact that past traumas have on you. I strive to create with you a space of safety and support to help reach your goals and grow into the person you want to be. One of the ways that we will be able to achieve that is through a somatic/interoceptive perspective and bringing awareness to what your body is telling you in moments of any heightened emotion.
My own counseling style is one of embracing the here and now and understanding the link between the body and mind. I offer work in Expressive Arts, allowing your subconscious to finally have a way to speak to you. I specialize in trauma, grief, and life transitions. I also serve victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
One thing I want to do with every client is to create a unique dynamic that is catered to you specifically. Bringing in humor and creating inside jokes, while also being able to talk about the hardest of things. But understanding that going through and embracing the hard and uncomfortable is the best way through it and best way to grow.
