I am a clinical psychologist in Louisville, KY. Educated at Vanderbilt and Colorado, I'm trained with marriage therapy and chemical, sex, work/money addictions. A pro-marital Christian, I'm pro-recovery and proactive. I'm homework intensive using workbooks, community support, and my user-friendly blog and podcast on my secure website. Personally trained by Drs. Patrick Carnes and John Gottman, I am internationally certified to counsel sex addicts and their partners. I'm called and gifted for guidance, encouragement, recovery, and healing. Dialog with me is lively, I work quickly, and I do take phone calls.
I help people with their relationships and addictions. I've worked with many love relationships both single and married, especially ones damaged by addiction and infidelity. I've written books about dating and dealing with difficult people, and two personality tests. I love my marriage, and my 12-step recovery.
At both my offices in Louisville and outside my freestanding home office east of Shelbyville, I'm offering private, socially distancing sessions OUTDOORS.
