People often seek therapy for support, personal growth and to help identify and change troubling thoughts, behaviors or emotions. Others are looking for growth in the areas of relationships, mood, communication, stress management and to improve the integration of one's identity and values. I work hard to create a trusting, safe, objective, and confidential environment so individuals can reach their goals and have improvements in emotional and psychological well being. My primary goal is to offer a safe and supportive place for change. Throughout the process, I will encourage, guide, challenge and collaborate with you.
I am a LCSW with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and extensive specialty training. I have practiced social work for over 25 years in schools, residential, foster care and the university setting. I commonly work with clients experiencing challenges related to stress, tension, grief and loss, anxiety and relationship issues. I am LGBTQIA+ supportive.
I take an integrated approach with clients. I am solution focused and strength based. By working together, we will enhance your ability to navigate life’s demands and environment with increased skill, confidence, and joy. Please don't hesitate to reach out. Finding the right therapist can be a challenge so I am happy to offer a 15 min phone consultation.
