I am interested in providing quality mental health treatment to children and adults suffering from a variety of issues including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, relationship issues, interpersonal conflict, low self-esteem, and family conflict. I enjoy watching clients discover their inner strength and apply that to their current problems. Using cognitive-behavioral interventions clients will be able to identify faulty thinking patterns and work on restructuring them into more positive, productive thoughts.
I've worked in a variety of settings such as community mental health clinics, Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient Programs, Emergency Services, and private practice. I work with individuals, helping them identify strengths to overcome any perceived weaknesses. My family work focuses on improving communication skills within the family unit as well as healing fractured relationships.
As a runner, I've completed many events that have called upon my inner strength to push through pain I didn't know I could endure. I've discovered something in myself I hope to share with my clients, perseverance. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you BELIEVE.
