Welcome! I am glad you have landed here on my profile. I work primarily with Autistic, PDA and ADHD children, teens, adults and couples/families. I work with parents wanting to better understand and support their neurospicy children. I see Autism and other forms of neurodiversity as being neurotypes and not as disorders. As a neurodivergent person myself (and the parent of an neurodivergent child), I have first hand knowledge of the struggles you might be facing. I create a safe space to foster authenticity and connection and utilize affirming therapy practices that are meant to work with your brain and not against it.
My other areas of speciality include: trauma informed care, mood issues (depression and anxiety), LGBTQ+ affirming care, veterans and military clients (I am a Navy veteran myself), and parenting support. Additionally, I provide couple/family therapy for mixed-neurotype couples wanting to better understand each other.
I am currently offering in-person and virtual sessions (I have daytime and evening sessions available). My office is in Golden Hill San Diego and I am available for new clients currently. Neuro Affirming Community Support Group
An affirming group for neurodivergent (autistic or ADHD) adults to find support and build community among like-minded peers. This group includes aspects of a traditional process group, with added emphasis on creating and sustaining relationships and finding support. Additionally, this group integrates art therapy, crafting and other activities to help foster connection.
