Every person wants happiness and contentment, but we also face challenges that leaves us confused, or even stuck. I realize it may not always be easy coming to a therapist, but personal growth, empowerment, and feeling whole are wonderful gifts to yourself. My hope is to foster trust by providing a safe environment to make sense of thoughts, feelings and pain. I love what I do and feel honored to gain your trust and hear about life, joys, and struggles.
I treat anxiety, stress, self-esteem, depression, substance abuse, trauma, PTSD and other complex conditions. I studied Psychology and Business at Union College and finished my MA in Counseling Psychology at he University of Nebraska where I received training in several modalities in order to meet people's unique needs.
My life, professional experiences, Spanish/English bilingual skills, international traveling and immigration to the United States have allowed me to interact with people from different cultures, backgrounds and beliefs. I believe in the human capacity to heal by unconditional compassion, hard work and by focusing on strengths.
