My style is warm, straightforward and humorous. I have over 16 years of experience in the mental health field with adults, adolescents, and couples. I believe it is important to look at an individuals perceptions and patterns of behaviors to ensure successful long term change rather than a "band-aid" fix.
If a medication evaluation or psychological testing is necessary, I can make referrals to Psychiatrists or Psychologists within the community. If appropriate, I will also collaborate with other professionals or agencies you are working with (i.e. medical doctors, case managers, school counselors) to assist in your treatment.
