My work primarily focuses on anxiety related issues especially when going through a transition (break-up, career change, medical diagnosis). I work a lot with people in their 20s and 30s as they adjust to life living on their own, navigating careers, and relationships. Much of the session will be focused on calming your flight or flight reaction so you can be in a better place to make decisions, set goals and respond to whatever life throws at you. I provide video and face to face sessions.
I utilize an eclectic approach that can be tailored to your needs. I do lean pretty heavily on CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). I am also trained in EMDR and Brainspotting and can provide these types of therapy even during video sessions.
Reach out to see if I would be a good fit, we can discuss your goals of therapy and how I can help. We can also make sure the pace of therapy works for you. When you do reach out let me know if you prefer a call or email. If email please check your junk mail folder. If a call is best let me know a good time to reach out.
