Don't settle for just being tolerated. Feeling “othered” by society is painful. As a gay therapist who has felt this, I get it. I work with people working to understand themselves better: Gay men, and LGBTQIA+ folks more broadly, and people with chronic health conditions such as hearing loss. Being in a demanding job such as tech and creative fields can add a unique flavor to the burden. Being worn down by anxiety, stuck with self-doubt and questioning your identity or abilities can all lead to struggles that we can navigate together. I understand how weird this world can feel.
My style is both warm and inquisitive. What you share shapes our work together, session by session. Clients often bring multiple concerns at once, and I can help tie together themes so nothing gets lost. I use multiple modalities together to help you heal, including CBT, psychodynamic (past-to-present) and EMDR.
