Our clinical focus is a "hybrid" approach combining Dialectical and Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Relational/Experiential therapy, primarily for the adolescent and emerging adult, but also working with adults, families and couples. Our clients struggle with regulating emotions, distress tolerance, core emptiness (confusion about oneself), as well as interpersonal conflict with frequent emotional chaos. Our time-limited, solution-focused technique is often sought to augment a person's existing individual therapy. Our approach is also effective in treating depression, self-injury, anxiety - focusing on coping skills. We are comprised of 4 licensed clinicians offering both individual, couple and group therapy.

We specialize in Depression, Mood Disorders, Cluster "B" Personality Disorders, Self-Injury and Anxiety Disorders. Empathy, validation and Unconditional Positive Regard are concepts paramount to our clinical practice. We emphasize Dialectical & Cognitive Behavior Therapy (DBT/CBT), but often integrate Positive Psychology, Family Systems Therapy, Psychodynamic therapy and Relational Psychology.

Cherry Creek Psychotherapy is comprised of 7 licensed and trained clinicians practicing very closely together in adolescent and emerging adult group therapy, uniquely organized to provide ancillary family and individual support where/when needed. Our adolescent and emerging adult programs offer evidenced-based treatment modalities to a diverse demographic.

This is a young adult (18-24) depression/anxiety process/support group. The focus is Dialectical/Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Typical participants struggle with Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, Unstable self-image, Interpersonal conflict, Failure to Launch. Please note that Cherry Creek Psychotherapy also has an Emerging Adult group on Tuesdays (ages 17-19). This group is separated into three age-specific groups. The first group is on Wednesdays from 5:00PM-7:00PM, ages 13-16. The second and third groups are on Tuesdays, 4:30PM to 8:30PM, for ages 17-19. All groups are DBT/CBT age-specific coping skill support groups. All of our groups are typically capped at 10 members and include two licensed, DBT-trained clinicians.
