In my practice, I aim to create a safe space where kids, adolescents, young adults, and adults can get comfortable being vulnerable and navigating the big emotions that come with being human in today's world. While my speciality is kids ages 10 and up I work with people of all ages and across the entire lifecycle.
A key aspect of my work is helping people build self-esteem. I use a strength-based approach in my therapeutic work to achieve higher self-worth. I excel at identifying strengths in people and helping them recognize these qualities within themselves. I can authentically identify and communicate the strengths I see in a person so they can see them as well.
I believe the more a person becomes aware of their strengths, the more it builds their self-esteem. Higher self-esteem better equips people to face adversity throughout their life. No matter who we are in life we cannot avoid adversity, we can only hope to learn to persevere through it.
