My ideal client would be someone who is willing to give therapy a chance. To explore various aspects of their life, who they are, and who they are wanting to become. My idea caseload would consist of a variety of issues, so as long as the client is wanting to be an active agent in their therapy then they would be my ideal. Their goals would consist of wanting to feel congruent with with their beliefs and how they are living their life. Whether that be reducing symptoms of depression, developing coping skills, improving communication, regaining their power, identity, and authenticity.
I offer a safe, non-judgemental, and validating place to explore the aspects and experiences of who someone is. I have worked with many types of traumas and work together with the client to process at a comfortable pace for them. Building an authentic relationship, that allows the co-creation of a therapeutic plan that most benefits the client.
Life is hard, there is no doubting that. And also scary, just like seeking out therapy can be. Society sometimes makes it feel like we have to go it alone. But that isn't true, everyone deserves someone to help figure out how to get through this world that doesn't have a manual. Let's try and figure it out together.
