Starting therapy can be an uncomfortable and difficult decision, which is why my first goal is to make you feel comfortable being completely yourself in our sessions. Therapy is only successful when you can be authentic, so I seek to create an environment in which you are totally accepted as you are. I want therapy to be a space unlike any other your life, where you do not need to fear judgement or consequences for being yourself. We will then collaborate on setting achievable goals and planning steps to work towards them. You will come to better understand yourself while achieving tangible progress on your challenges.
I believe that every person, their story, and their situation is unique, which is why I aim to fit my therapeutic style to you. This means that I may use a variety of techniques, depending on what we agree works best with you.
