I specialize in activating individuals' strengths to make positive changes to their struggles and challenges. A natural tendency of the human condition is to avoid situations that are too difficult to process. Sometimes this causes a person to feel "stuck" and maybe even a little helpless. My journey with you will explore these experiences and we will collaborate on ways to move towards painful struggles, as opposed to life-long avoidance. If you are experiencing any symptoms or features or psychological discomfort, help is only one click or call away.
Initially, I work with normalizing and validating how someone is feeling coming into a session, and explore thoughts and emotions that come up for them. As they are comfortable with moving forward, I utilize a combination of cognitive-behavioral strategies, acceptance and commitment therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and/or psychodynamic modality.
I work with individuals, couples, couples, families struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. In our sessions, you can expect open, honest conversations that empower you to make lasting, positive changes. The goal: process emotions effectively, and create a life that better aligns with your ideal-self.

Overcoming Fear and Social Anxiety

Fear and social anxiety are factors that have the potential to prevent us from being successful in achieving our goals in life, whether professionally, romantically, or personally. The human condition's natural tendency is to move away from people, situations, places, and even thoughts or ideas that cause discomfort. While this self-defense mechanism is designed to protect us, it often inhibits some people from realizing their true potentials, achieving their life-long dreams, or simply overcome a situation from the past that haunts us today. This group is designed to explore and challenge that self-defense mechanism.
