About

Are you feeling anxious, stressed and worried about your relationships with others? Have you experienced a life transition that is difficult? Are you wanting to gain emotional insight and healing and feel a greater sense of strength, courage and bravery? I am here to help. You don't have to go through it on your own. Areas I focus on include: high school/college transitions, stress and anger issues, health-related difficulties like chronic pain and HIV, family conflict, relationship concerns, self-esteem and identity, grief, loss and trauma and issues related to gender identity development.
My approach is holistic, meaning I take into account who you were, who you are and who you want to be. I consider all aspects of you to be important and I validate who you are by providing interpersonal, trauma-informed and culturally sensitive counseling.
I have >10 years working with clients of various ages who struggle with painful life experiences. I have an LPC (Michigan), completed 4 years in the Counseling Psychology doctoral program (WMU) and have an MS in Clinical Health Psychology (PCOM). I also taught at WMU on Drug Use: Personal and Social Impact and TA'd the Holistics course: Choices in Living.
