My top priority is to provide a safe and supportive environment for you. A fundamental aspect of that is hearing and understanding where you are coming from. The most common issues I help with are emotional trauma, relationship difficulties, workplace difficulties and longer term mental health/illness issues. I worked in state government for 15 years. The understanding that I developed regarding how organizations tend to function is valuable in helping clients dealing with workplace issues.
In working with clients who have emotional trauma issues, I use Lifespan Integration along with Internal Family Systems concepts. Those trauma specific approaches can be of great benefit even for clients who have not benefited from therapy approaches that are not developed for trauma treatment.
In addition to counseling, I provide neurofeedback services. Over the course of 19 years I evaluated numerous neurofeedback approaches and found NeuroGuide Live Z-Score training with some NeuroField to be most helpful. Neurofeedback is not billable through insurance. Billing rates for neurofeedback are $130 for intake and $65 per session subsequently.
