Psychotherapy is about changing your way of being. I have clinical experience in private and community health settings supervising, consulting, and teaching psychoanalytic therapy. Generally, I work well with people who've felt disappointed with more superficial or impersonal treatments. I also work with men’s issues, addiction, psychosis, and other complex trauma including sexual and emotional abuse.
All your thoughts, feelings, perceptions, and fantasies are welcome in therapy - nothing about your internal world is off limits. I work with emotional authenticity and use a conversational style to build comfort with the vulnerability of being in therapy.
