While open to a range of issues, I feel I connect particularly well with adolescents or adults who have experienced trauma, different types of abuse, neglect, or exploitation, and are struggling with behavioral issues, substance use, self-harm, depression, anxiety, or PTSD. I want to help clients explore the parts of themself they try to hide away, address the pain they carry, and in working towards healing, gain back those pieces of who they are.
As an LPC, I prioritize establishing a safe, therapeutic relationship with my clients. By creating an environment where clients feel they can be fully themselves, without fear of judgment or rejection, we can then openly begin treatment.
While therapy is becoming more accepted and talked about, it can still be an intimidating and scary idea. You can be confident that when working with me, you will be in the driver's seat of your treatment. Therapy is your time and your space to address the issues you choose.
