About
You will find me empathetic and interested in the ways you want to approach your care, ready to listen and ready to assist. Clients who connect with me want expertise, humor, positive regard, support, and warmth. Therapy requires a dual commitment and understanding of how each of us works, so both should bring equal commitment to this tough, demanding and rewarding challenge. Together we approach the difficulties, creating safety, pace, and space. The way we relate together compared to other relationships in a person's life is often the path toward healing when it is examined with courageousness and trust.
My understanding of bipolar treatment is comprehensive, unique and based on guidelines to receive concurrent medical (yes meds) and counseling care. I also understand managing this takes courage and I will be your biggest ally in creating personalized care. Other specialties focus on life transitions, depression, anxiety, loss, and couples counseling.
I invite you to come to my safe space (via internet), and explore where you are stuck, bothered or challenged. Therapy is not easy, but often, people feel supported by me to explore the hardest things and they competently take over my job and are able to face their challenges with much greater confidence. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
