My approach is to gently work alongside clients through the process of recognizing the origin of & deconstructing harmful beliefs and negative thought patterns that sometimes become ingrained in us in order to foster a sense of personal autonomy, healing, and growth. I'm Dr. Patricia Talbert (she/her), and I am serving the Monterey Bay Peninsula community (in-person & online) and California (via telehealth) as a Registered Psychological Associate under the supervision of Dr. Byrd-Olmstead, Licensed Psychologist, PSY25981.
With a deep commitment to helping individuals from diverse backgrounds, I bring experience in working with adolescents and adults facing a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, LGBTQIA+ & gender diversity concerns, religious trauma, and chemical dependency, using a person-centered & psychodynamically-informed approach.
