My approach to therapy is to empower my clients and meet them where they are at. I believe in challenging them to experience thoughts, beliefs and emotions that support increased processing and understanding. I will support you with developing strategies to regulate emotions, stress reduction, and increase distress tolerance. My expertise supports reducing anxiety and depression, and normalizing shame and guilt by utilizing parts work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness. I am also trained in EMDR, which is designed to heal individuals as they process traumatic memories.
I focus on empowering my clients as they navigate their way through issues that create roadblocks. I use a holistic approach to integrate the mind, body and soul by promoting growth and healing. My primary work is adult ADHD, post-traumatic stress, phase of life difficulties, childhood trauma, and substance use.
