Therapy can help you tap into your innate resilience and develop the coping skills to heal from trauma, emotional reactivity, grief and relationship challenges. I work with clients to help them understand their reactions, their relationship needs, access their strengths, and develop supportive coping strategies by drawing upon a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques including psychotherapy, EMDR, self-compassion, strengths based therapy and emotion focused therapy. Whether you're working through loss, anxiety, depression or trauma, you don't have to do it alone. Appointments are available in person or via telehealth.
My approach is through a social justice lens, utilizing techniques from emotion focused family therapy; parts work; narrative therapy and the research on self-compassion. My support for the LGBTQIA community is informed by the guidelines of the American Psychological Association and the America Academy of Pediatrics.
