We always have a choice! Much is beyond our control, but we choose how we respond to life and where we place our energy and attention. I am lucky to have worked for over 20 years with women and men who choose to live intentionally. In this process, many explore their attachment and relational styles and move towards authenticity in all relationships. Some of those I work with have generational dysfunction or trauma, and been affected by another’s addiction or abuse. Some have been affected by a close person with a personality disorder, including those with narcissistic traits. I work with many with co-dependent patterns.
I’ve been a licensed mental health counselor and school psychologist for many years. I accept most insurances. I’m inspired by Internal Family Systems, attachment theory and Jungian psychology, among others. I work with adults, families, couples, those in separation and divorce, parents/co-parents, and non traditional and adoptive families.
My approach is strength based, eclectic and creative. I welcome humor and thinking outside the box. We are more than our diagnoses, and far greater than the sum of our parts!
