I believe having a judgment-free and safe space to share, helps foster the path toward healing and change. I view counseling as a collaborative process between counselor and client, which is why I integrate several theoretical styles, tailored to my clients’ needs and goals. Primarily my focus is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I also come from a Client Centered approach, meaning I believe that you are the expert in your life and I will act as a support and guide. Relationship building and being comfortable with one another is key and my goal is to make sure all my clients feel heard, understood, and welcome.
My current focus is helping teens, young adults and adults, with a specialized focus on life transitions, self-esteem, anxiety, relationship issues, communication skills, & personal growth. I have a strong history of working with women going through divorce and also clients navigating narcissistic relationships.
My approach is laid back and conversational. In the therapy space, I have been described as calm, welcoming and nonjudgmental. I recognize taking this first step can be intimidating and even downright scary but thank you for trusting me with your story and I feel honored to work alongside you.
