I have been providing support to children, adults and families during times of stress, transition and crisis for over 30 years. Areas of specialization include trauma resolution, life transitions and grief. My approach is both compassionate and practical. Supporting healthy attachment in relationship and supporting the inner changes that occur when one steps onto a spiritual path are of particular interest as well. Moving from worn out habits driving behavior to genuine expression and presence.
I have worked with many expressions of human pain. I approach healing with curiosity, directness and gentleness. The behaviors that interfere with a satisfying life, can be uncovered. Once uncovered these protective behaviors can then begin to heal, strengthening our authentic voice.
As a single mom, I have known the challenges of parenting. I have studied and trained in both EMDR and brainspotting to bring effective trauma treatment to my clients.
