In my 45 years of experience as a licensed therapist working with individuals and couples, I've learned that we all want understanding, respect, and love. We want fulfillment, meaning, and happiness - individually, and in our relationships. Psychotherapy can help us develop the insights and skills we need to understand, respect, and love ourselves and others. We can change worn out, old habits, build resilience, and become more of who we long to be.
I provide therapy for adults of all ages, as well as couples and families, using an approach based in family systems, attachment, cognitive, and psychoanalytic theory. I also specialize in parenting consultations, therapy with parents and their adult children, and grief resolution.
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California for 28 years. Earned Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1998. 2001 completed the Advanced Training Program in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at Southern California Psychoanalytic Institute (now New Center for Psychoanalysis). Licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Vermont, 2010.
