My experience working in business, healthcare, education, and mental health has given me a range of skills and the ability to work with issues related to adolescents and adults dealing with life transitions. My role as a therapist is to empower clients and help them move forward. Depending on the situation, my approach ranges from a gentle nudge to direct suggestions. I specialize in working with clients with anxiety & depression, adults with perfectionist thinking and ADHD, and high functioning autism. LGBTQ+ friendly.
I use an integrated approach drawing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Jungian Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients understand and process their emotions. Change is often difficult. However, the sooner we accept what we are resisting and listen to that inner voice, our anxiety can lessen. I believe that a trusting relationship between the therapist and client can provide a safe space to assist clients with restructuring negative thoughts and habits that are no longer beneficial in their daily lives.
