About
Thank you for taking the time to read about my practice. For the past 25 years I have been in private practice as a clinical psychologist. Although I started out specializing mainly in treating young children and families my practice has expanded over the years to include adolescents, adults and couples. I am intensively trained and qualified to provide DBT to adults, teens, children and families and also have the certification in DBT-PE for treating adults with trauma histories. Additionally I am trained in Trauma Focused Child Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and have worked with children who struggle with many types of trauma.
-Trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), (www.westchesterparentingcenter.com). ---DBT for families, adults, teens DBT-PE for adult trauma. Coping Cat program for childhood anxiety disorders and Trauma Focused Child Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT).
Choosing a therapist for yourself or your child is a highly individualized process. It's so important that you feel a connection with the therapist. While my clinical training is strong, I know that real change happens through a strong relationship that feels safe. I invite you to call me and see if I feel like a good fit for you.
