About
Psychotherapy can be a powerful and transformative experience. I believe that psychological healing occurs within the relationship between patient and therapist. Together we will seek to explore and understand your life experiences, thoughts, and emotions, with the goal of helping you experience your world in a new way.
I would describe my orientation to doing therapy as psychodynamic and relational, although I may use techniques from a variety of schools of thought depending on a person's needs. I have extensive training in object relations theory, family systems theory, EMDR and the treatment of eating disorders.
I believe in offering all clients a safe and accepting climate for healing and growth. I recognize the importance of understanding you as an individual with unique goals, strengths and struggles. My hope is that in so doing, I can assist you in improving the quality of your life.
