Hey! My name is Patricia Gonzalez, please call me Patty, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I am a client-centered therapist, who integrates different modalities to cater to my client’s needs. I have been trained in various modalities such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Behavior Activation and Modification, and Solution Focused. When working with an individual I will collaborate with my client every step of the way as a team to find what works best and I am open to feedback.
I genuinely want my clients to feel comfortable, safe, and feel heard without any judgment or assumptions. Throughout my experience, I have worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I have worked with people on the Autism Spectrum, foster children, and families.
I enjoy the process of getting to know my client’s perspective on how they have become who they are and the person they aspire to be. I have had the pleasure of being able to support many people with life challenges, social pressures, and everything that can come with it such as anxiety, depression, stress, symptoms related to PTSD, and mood dysregulation.
