Hi, my name is Patricia Gomez. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and have been practicing in the field of mental health since 2001. I understand that therapy is about you and what you need, so I often refer to clients as the driver and myself as the passenger, sitting alongside my clients through their own personal journey! My style tends to be person-centered and solution-focused as I believe in focusing more heavily on the problems you're experiencing right now and working together to develop effective strategies for improving overall life satisfaction.
I often incorporate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to help my clients identify problematic thinking and retrain the brain to implement more positive and productive strategies! Some other modalities that I believe in are Narrative Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
