| Español I have a passion for working with adolescents (14+) and young adults from diverse populations. My goal is to provide a welcoming, comfortable, and safe environment for my clients. I am passionate about fighting against stigmas related to counseling within minority/ethnic groups. I believe people should be able to receive services and resources in their own language and as a bilingual practitioner, I provide services for Spanish and English-speaking individuals.
I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to working with individuals struggling with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Trauma, and Substance use. I am EMDR Trained and utilize this tool for trauma and PTSD. I understand that every individual has different needs and I work to adapt my approach to better address the struggles at hand.
