I am a clinical psychologist with 25 years of experience treating adults & adolescents suffering from anxiety and depression. I have been a supervising psychologist for Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York Presbyterian Hospital and The City University of New York. My specialty is helping clients sort through the conflicts & fears that get in the way of achieving their goals and dreams. I will help you develop an improved awareness and understanding of yourself and others, change negative patterns & improve your ability to communicate with friends, colleagues and family members. I use an integrative and holistic approach.

Along with traditional psychotherapy techniques, I work with an innovative mindfulness-based psychotherapy that helps mitigate years of defenses and resistance. This approach helps clients to more easily identify and change self-defeating behaviors and thoughts that cause distress, and undermine relationships. You will develop the tools to achieve your goals.

Together, we will discover the emotionally charged life experiences that interfere with present day functioning. I will help you gain control over your self-critical thoughts, improve your relationships & develop a better quality of life. I work with adults, adolescents, couples and groups. See website above for previous experience & education.
