I use CBT, EMDR and Motivational interviewing to uncover motivation for change, personal strengths, coping abilities, and triggers. I support clients in exploring and questioning unhealthy feelings and beliefs in a way to uncover their own solutions. I also guide clients through identifying and using their strengths to build coping strategies.
My approach to counseling is based on unconditional positive regard for the person(s) in my care. I offer a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental space for you to be yourself and heal. I believe that the healing process begins with a professional relationship between client and counselor. A relationship built on respect, acceptance, and trust.
