I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist and work with children, adolescents and adults in individual therapy and with couples from diverse backgrounds. I work with clients coping with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, stress and relationships, trauma/post-traumatic stress, grief and loss, life transitions, anger management and chronic and acute health issues. I have confidence in the value of insight oriented / psychodynamic therapy. I integrate a humanistic, relational therapeutic approach with evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, solution focused and strength based therapy.

I specialize in working with college students transitioning into young adulthood. I have advanced training in couples therapy and enjoy working with both straight and LGBTQ couples and with couples who are just getting started as well as couples who have been together for many years.

Creating an environment of acceptance and compassion, my goal is to offer a safe space where you feel understood, valued and respected. Emphasizing a collaborative approach, we work together to increase self awareness through understanding the past, developing effective coping strategies and identifying goals for change and personal growth.
