Hello! I am Patricia (Patty) Cherry, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with over 39 years of clinical experience. I typically work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety and stress, adjustment issues, and grief. My primary approaches to therapy include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness based therapy. In addition, I do Christian counseling.
I value establishing rapport with a client and truly want to hear their story. I believe clients have to capacity to identify, process, and solve the issues that are concerning. I value a warm and accepting environment where trust can develop.
