As a licensed clinical social worker for 30 + years, I have had the privilege of working with people of all ages. My youngest client was 5 years old and my eldest to date 85. The range of issues addressed were as varied. I have found that the single most important factor in acheiving a successful therapeutic outcome lies within the relationship between therapist and client.
I offer a supportive, interactive & objective environment in which to explore your fears and concerns, goals and aspirations. I employ various interventions based on the individual and/or family's needs. My role is that of facilitator. You dictate the direction of our work.Mindfulness techniques are an integral part of treatment.
I have also worked with many people struggling from the effects of trauma and PTSD. Critical to healing & recovery is safety. First and foremost, I establish a safe environment. I have been most impressed by the resilience of the human spirit. It would be my pleasure to work with you.
