Psychotherapy - At its core, therapy is about exploring where you came from and determining where you want to go. Actual traumatic experiences are less important than how we resolve and make sense of those experiences. My areas of expertise include trauma, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, divorce, parenting, and intellectual giftedness.
Parent Consultation & Coaching - As a child psychologist, I have special interest in working with parents of children with challenging behaviors. Starting with the premise that discipline means guidance not punishment, I provide support to help parents understand & respond to emotions underlying misbehavior & learn skills to discipline confidently with less drama.
